McMillan SDS operates a fleet of drilling rigs capable of conducting geothermal drilli­ng installations. We have both crawler and truck mounted rigs capable of accessing even the most difficult sites.

• Track and Crawler mounted dual rotary rigs for temporary cased drilling applications;
• Specialized rubber track mounted rig for difficult access into tight sites. 5.0m long x 1.8m wide x 2.4m high;
• Conventional Multi Purpose Rotary Rigs (truck & track mounted);

A range of high capacity “chemgrout” collodial grout mixers for any variation of bentonite, silica sand, cement mixes.

Considerable emphasis is placed on investment in modern equipment to deliver services on time and budget. We offer the following; 

• Twin rotary drilling for difficult ground conditions;
• Conventional air or fluid rotary drilling for open hole applications in soil and rock;
• Top drifter percussion for shallow installations;
• Hollow flight auger drilling for shallow installations;
• Drill through casing driver for deep open loop installations;
• Depths to 200m+.
